Boating

I love being back in Utah there are so many thing I missed doing like boating and camping. I guess you can do those things in Florida too but if you go boating in the ocean you worry about sharks and if you go to the lake you worry about alligators. So call me a chicken but you'd never catch me in the water and camping is just miserable because it's hot and humid! Here the air is fresh and crisp, it gets cool at night and the only thing you have to worry about boating is what swim suit to wear...:) JK

My little bother got married July 11th. The whole day turned out so great! They had there ceremony up Logan Canyon and it was beautiful. Then they had a brunch at Hamilton's Steak House. For the reception they rented out a ice cream shop which was really cool everyone loved it. I have a couple pic's but I'll post some more once we get the pictures from the photographer. I can't believe he is finally here!! Our baby boy arrived into this world on June 22 at 12:15p.m. weighing 7lbs 10oz and 21 inches long. Everything went really well and he is as healthy as can be. I started feeling my contractions at 6:30a.m. I called Troy (he was playing basketball) and he came home showered, I finished packing and we got to the hospital by 8:00a.m. I pushed about 4 or 5 times and he was out by 12:15p.m. It went pretty quick which was good and bad. Good because it didn't drag on, bad because my epidural didn't have time to kick in...ouch! He is absolutely perfect and he is such a good baby. We are loving being parents! Troy is already talking about trying to have another one....!??

We went down to the Salt Lake City Temple for my cousins wedding. It was really nice and fun to see the whole family. We are so glad we're back in Utah again. No more missing out on all the family get together's... :) Congratulations you two married life is the best!

OK it's been a while since I have wrote anything but life has been a little crazy! I'll catch you up really quick. We moved back to Utah a couple weeks ago and we couldn't find a house we loved so we decided to just build. Our home should be done in Nov...hopefully cross your fingers! So right now we are living at my parents. Troy is working for my parents part time and golfing with my dad full time :) Just kidding he works hard and he's loving it but they do golf everyday, sometimes before and after work. I am now 35 weeks and 4 days along and the count down has defiantly begun. I love being pregnant I just can't wait to meet our little guy!! The doctor said that I could go any day now... we'll keep you updated! My brother is in Peru right now on a study abroad program for school so I turned his room into a nursery. He gets married 11 days after he gets home so hopefully he won't be needing his room anymore ;) well that's it pretty much it for now. Everyone has been telling me they want to see some pictures of my big belly so here you go. Hope you enjoy...

Magic vs Cavaliers

Troy and I went to the Magic game the other night. It was a lot of fun. They were playing the Cleveland Cavaliers. I guess the cav's are suppose to be really good this year but the Magic were up by like 40 points the whole time. Tiger Woods has seasons tickets and we know where his seats are so every time we go to a game we look for him. He was there so I pulled my camera out to take some pictures and I only got one before the batteries died. I was so mad. So this is the only picture I got and it wasn't even of the game! Oh well can you find him?? He's sitting down, leaning forward wearing a blue shirt and hat....??

24 Weeks

I haven't been really good at taking belly pictures. This is 24 weeks. It's so weird to look down and see a big belly but it's so fun. I love being pregnant.

Little Cocoa

Cocoa's birthday was March 10th I got her this cute pink toy and it was destroyed with 20 minutes!

This launch we decided to just watch from where we live instead of driving clear out to Cocoa Beach. It's amazing how well you can still see everything. The sun was setting so it made it all colorful, it was really neat. We have now seen 6 or 7 launches and it just never seems to get old.

My friends all sew and they have been trying to talk me into getting a sewing machine. I finally gave in and attempted my first project. I made a taggie blanket and a couple burp cloths. They actually turned out to be really cute!!

Our Baby Boy

Our parents thought it would be fun since we were all together to go have a 3-D ultrasound done. We went to a place called Baby's First Image. They had a couch and a big screen up on the wall so everyone could come sit down and see what was going on. I was only 21 weeks and 2 days so it was still pretty early to do the ultrasound because the baby doesn't start putting on weight until the 23rd or 24th week. Our little guy only weighed in at 1lb 1oz. It was so neat to watch him!! He moved all over the place! He was a little camera shy. He kept putting his hands in front of his face, but we still ended up getting some great pictures.

Las Vegas

We went to Las Vegas a couple weeks ago for the National Bowling Tournament and met mine and Troy's family there. We had a blast!!

Troy told my little brother he would give him $10 to eat some butter.

On our way back to Orlando we stopped to check out the beach. Troy and I have been to a lot of nice beaches but this one was by far the nicest beach we've been to. The sand was so white and clean. To bad we didn't have more time to play.

Troy's parents came to visit us and we had a blast. The first day we drove over to Cocoa beach to hang out. Jeri was the only one that tried to get in the water but it was way too cold.

We did talk Marty & Jeri into playing some rock band and it was hilarious....! We all thought we were rock stars specially Jeri she was our singer and she really rocked it. Marty liked to just kick back in his chair and play either the drums or the guitar. We had a pretty awesome band if you ask me!

We went up to St Augustine. It's the oldest city in the United States. It was fun to walk around and see everything but it was so cold. The weather has been crazy here lately and Troy and I felt bad because a cold front came through right when they got here. It was hot before they came and it warmed up again right after they left. Sorry guys :(

We went to see the lighthouse and the guys stayed in the car they didn't think that climbing a couple hundred stairs sounded fun. When Jeri and I got to the top we were a little nervous. We wouldn't get close to the edge. We asked this guy to take our picture and it took all we had to move away from the wall :) He probably thought we were crazy!!

We went to the Luau at Sea World and had dinner. Some people in our ward run the show and their son is the best fire and knife dancer in the world. It was a lot of fun!!

Troy put this little set up on our bed the night before Valentine's. The bear had a note on it that said This is just the start of your Valentine's...!!! I don't know how I ended up with such an amazing husband. He's always spoiling me rotten and he treats me like a queen. I'm so lucky!

For Valentine's Troy took me to down town Disney to see a movie and have dinner. Just when I thought our night was over and it was time to go home of course he had something else up his sleeve. He surprised me with Cirque Du Soleil tickets!! I was so excited. We've both wanted to see the show for ever but it was just too expensive. He got us amazing seats (only 4 rows up) for an amazing deal. It was sooo much fun. Oh and Troy got to feel our little guy kick for the first time. I don't know why maybe because it was so loud but he was kicking like crazy :)

I was the Secretary for our Young Women and I loved every minute of it. Our girls are so great and we all had so much fun together. I was recently just released and I'm so sad :( Earlier this month it was New Beginnings and all the leaders came over to my house to make these to hand out to the girls. They turned out so cute we all ended up making our selves one. I'm NOT good at doing crafts so I was really proud of my self I had to take a picture to show it off!

17 weeks along!

I am now 15 weeks and 2 days! Last wed we had ultrasound and got to find out what we're having. I thought it was to early to tell but the doctor came in and asked if we wanted to know. I was shocked. I asked if she could really tell what it was and she said "oh ya it's pretty clear.. It's a boy!" Troy was so excited to find out he was having a son he could hardly stand it. I couldn't wait to leave to start shopping. Yes we went straight from the hospital to Babies R Us to pick out his first outfit!

Today we went to the doctor's and had an ultrasound. It was so neat to see the little arms and legs. He or she (troy has me calling it a he because he's convinced its a boy!) was moving all over the place. He even had the hiccups for a minute it was so cute. The pictures aren't great but the first one he has his hand over his face and you can kinda see his legs. The second picture you can see the face a little better. My official due date is now July 11th. Yes the same day my little brother is getting married...sorry Derek and Ash you might have to change your date:)

Last weekend we went to Disney's Magic Kingdom with some friends and they had the castle all decked out with Christmas lights. It looked awesome.

My little brother Derek just got engaged. I am so excited for them. They are getting married July 11th and this picture is what they sent out to everyone to save the date. Isn't it cute!! Congratulation you two. Ashley were excited for you to be in the family.

For Thanksgiving we went down to Key West and had a blast. On the way down we took a little detour to find Nick Hexum's island (he's the guy in Troys favorite band 311) Oh and if you want you can buy it right now for 10 million dollars.

This is when we were on one of the many bridges. Key West is the last island so they built these huge bridges to connect all of them. It was really cool (but kinda scary) to be on this little road and be surrounded by ocean.

We watched the sun set the first night we were there and Troy took lots of pictures. These two are my favorite... I love them!!

We took Cocoa (our dog) and it was great because everywhere including our hotel was dog friendly. So we didn't have to hide her like usual.

After dinner one night Troy thought it would be fun to climb a Plam tree.... so he did. Nobody got hurt but a cop drove by and he didn't look to thrilled:)

This is the most southern point of the United States. Only 90 miles to cuba!

We went on a train tour around the island and learned all the history. I thought it was going to be boring but I actually really enjoyed it. This was President Harry S Truman's "summer" White House in 1946.

This was the church in the Casino Royal Jame Bond movie.

Launch

We went to watch the Launch last night and it was amazing! We always go but they are usually during the day and this one was at 7:55p.m. so it was dark. The flame is 4 miles long so it just lit up the sky. I have a friend down in Palm Beach that said she even saw it and Palm Beach is 2 hours away! I tried to record it but you can't really see whats going on. Oh well check it out, it's still pretty cool.

IKEA

Troy has wanted a poang chairs from IKEA for ever but they are like $100 dollars and they are comfortable but defiantly not cute enough to spend that much money. Well he received a e-mail saying that they will give the first hundred people in line on Friday morning a free chair and free breakfast. So we went over at 9 Thursday night and camped out. It was actually really fun.
We watched the first 3 seasons of the Office and everyone around us were probably getting really annoyed because we were laughing all night.
I wished we had brought a tent like the people next to us because trying to sleep in a camp chair...not fun!!
The news people came at 4 in the morning and the lady asked me to hold this elephant while she was interviewing us. Cocoa made her self comfortable and fell right asleep.
They ended up interviewing us like 5 times because we were the second people in line. We were so tired and I'm sure looked great for the camera after that long night...!!

Halloween

Cocoa was a pirate for Halloween and her best friend Emma was a peacock. We took them to down town West Palm to show them off. It was really fun we ate at a dog friendly restaurant and then went and listened to the live bands that we there. When we were walking around we ran into some real pirates....ya not kidding everything they had on was real and they actually have a store were you can buy the all the antique stuff. Cocoa was terrified of them!!
